The Taiwan Eastbound Alliance of Launching America (TeaLA) officially signed a cooperation agreement with The Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center on August 27, 2024, jointly announcing the establishment of the "Asia Innovation Hub (AIH)" in Taiwan.
This collaboration marks Nasdaq's first institution specifically targeting the Asian market, underscoring its commitment and importance to Taiwan's startup and technology industries. The Asia Innovation Hub will integrate Nasdaq’s global entrepreneur network and professional resources, TeaLA’s local expertise, and the educational resources of the National Taiwan University (NTU) College of Management. The goal is to build a complete ecosystem that accelerates the internationalization of Asian startups and effectively connects them with international capital markets.
【Key Collaboration Points and Vision】
Focus on the Asian Market: The AIH will provide diversified resources for education, mentorship, and capital connection to entrepreneurs across Taiwan and Asia, serving as a critical bridge to the U.S. capital market.

Triple Resource Integration: The collaboration leverages the professional training from the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, the industrial connections of TeaLA, and the academic advantages of the NTU College of Management to cultivate internationally competitive startup talent.
Accelerating Internationalization: The establishment of the AIH will facilitate the rapid international development of Taiwanese innovative enterprises and position Taiwan as a key pivot point for emerging APAC innovative companies to access global markets.
TeaLA states that by introducing the entrepreneurial resources of the world’s largest exchange, the collaboration is expected to help construct a technology cluster in Asia, attracting more new ventures to conduct public offerings or dual-listings in Taiwan. This initiative moves closer to realizing the vision of the “Taiwan block becoming the Nasdaq of Asia.”
